We love waffles and crepes, so we were so ecstatic when we found this place in North York! They even make their own ice cream- what more can we say?!
They have many Asian-inspired flavours: Black Sesame Waffle – peanut, sesame, sponge cake, cereal, homemade sesame ice cream. Very nutty and rich flavoured ice cream
Shortcake Crepe – strawberry, blueberry, sponge cake, strawberry ice cream
Nutella Crepe – banana, nutella, chocolate ice cream
Hot green tea latte with real matcha powder
Overall we had a great date night. It’s definitely more peaceful here than some of the big dessert chains, which makes for a great conversational setting. They have an outdoor patio for summer nights as well as a seating area inside where you’ll instantly feel comfortable because of the extremely high ceilings. The only downside is finding parking on busy Yonge St, but regardless we’ll definitely be back cuz I think we’ve found our new mid-town sweet spot!
