The Wynn hotel is gorgeous inside and out – they are so attentive to detail! When you walk in, you’re instantly greeted by a whimsical butterfly theme and hanging balls of flowers (we still haven’t figured out whether those are real or not).
And if you follow the path to The Buffet (yeah, they named it The Buffet), you’ll be greeted by a seating area unlike any other. I start thinking of the Mad Hatter’s tea party whenever I see this. Be aware of long lineups over the weekends (upwards of 40 minutes long), but if you go on a weekday around 12 noon, you can pretty much just walk in…
This is the centralized seating area, and also the prettiest. There are maybe only 15 tables in this section, so hopefully there is something available by the time you get there.
Compared to The Bacchanal buffet at Caesar’s, we felt like there were more fruits and veggies at The Buffet, and that the interior decor and seating plan was more spacious and unique in this space.
Someone had a very tasty steak 🙂
MORE CRAB LEGS!!
Ooo, seaweed + cucumber salad
Seaweed salad AND tuna poke. I once saw an episode on Food network that showcased a popular seafood store that specialized in fresh poke (sashimi salad) from Hawaii. From then on I always wanted to try poke. However, I feel that the fish from this dish may have been over-marinated because it had a mushy texture to it, but the flavours were there…
Watermelon drizzled with tequila salad. You can’t taste the alcohol in this

Mmm… creme brulee fresh off the torch
Crepe station. The difference between this one and the one at Caesar’s is that you don’t get to control your own toppings. Instead you can request what you’d like and the chef will customize it for you. Also, The Wynn gives you the options of apples and sauce, whereas Caesar’s is only berries, and being a huge fan of apples , I was pleasantly surprised.
Went to the gelato station and asked for a single scoop to go 🙂
This was our first time eating candied apples. It was only so-so because the candied shell was too sweet and not that flavourful. Plus, I felt like there was too much food colouring used in the process
